Company MACHALA – LAŽA Ltd. was established in December 2013.
The company is the successor of the company Mr. Karel Machala, Hošťálkova, which has been in the market since 1999. This store was established as the successor organization of the production comapny Lipta in Kateřinice (its production was interrupted in the nineties of the last century).
The main focus of the company is the production and sales of timber products from linden and beech wood especially for the food industry.
The basic range consists of sausage skewers and their variants – length, diameter, tips etc. Further products as toothpicks, kitchen spatula, tongs cucumbers, etc. The company delivers goods to customers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Europe, especially in Italy, Germany and Hungary.
Our products are certified for their quality and safety.
Basic production program and each product we are able to adapt to customer both in design and volume of deliveries. We will meet specific customer requirements for product types, according to our technological possibilities, from a few hundred pieces to mass production.
Our skewers products are made from quality hardwoods – beech or lime, mined principally in the Czech Republic. We ensure the safety of our products, our products are selected from a wood with great care – must be healthy, properly dried, with no signs of pest infestation, etc. Wood material is not chemically treated or modified.
Purchased lumber is stored on the natural drying time min. one year. The actual processing is performed with traditional joinery techniques such as sawing, turning and grinding.
Our products keep the natural design without further modification.
